In the same vein, the employees at Walgreens are going to make a bigger impact if they are better people and are treated better by the company.

It’s possible that Walgreens is trying to capitalize on the public outrage over the Ackman’s fraud.
Walgreens is the second-largest retailer in the city so it’s certainly possible that this is just part of a larger scheme to get someone fired or imprisoned. If Dollar Tree does this, the backlash could be huge. Dollar Tree has been struggling to deal with the fact that people have not only walked out of stores but have also written in to the company’s customer service to complain. Ackman’s fraud was so severe it even made Dollar Tree want to stop selling its own products.
